The Fray have officially announced their return to Ireland, confirming two live dates for later this year. The Grammy-nominated band will take the stage at Dublin's National Stadium on Thursday, November 12, 2026, before heading north to play Belfast’s Ulster Hall on Friday, November 13, 2026.
These newly scheduled performances arrive almost exactly a year after their last visit. In November of last year, the band wrapped up the final dates of their "How To Save A Life" 20th Anniversary Tour with sold-out stops in both cities, including a highly successful show at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre that marked their live return after a decade-long hiatus.
The upcoming dates are part of their UK and European "Autumn Light Tour," which supports the band's latest creative chapter. Following a period with no new releases since 2016, the current lineup, comprising Joe King, Dave Welsh, and Ben Wysocki has put out seven new singles over the past two years. The tour follows the launch of their brand-new album and lead single, A Light That Waits. According to recent press releases, the band is continuing to work on even more new music, with additional releases planned for the coming months.
The Fray originally rose to global prominence in the early 2000s with their debut album, How To Save A Life. The record was propelled by massive hits like "Over My Head (Cable Car)" and its title track, which famously spent 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became deeply associated with the Emmy-winning series Grey’s Anatomy. Demonstrating their lasting impact, that debut album was recently certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA.
Tickets for the Dublin and Belfast shows are priced from €55 (including booking fee) and will go on general sale this Friday, March 20, at 10:00 AM via Ticketmaster.
